"Borderline" Fare Stages

SBS9818A SG

Zonal charging is still the best. Like that noone can complain unless the boundaries are unclear.

Another report on TNP today, Sat 7 Feb

It was revealed on 3 gps, 26 & 31, 105 & 132, 7 & 36.

Read it, as I am not going to write too much.

SBS also confirmed that there are others cases like 151 & 154, 8 & 90 along Macpherson Road/ Jalan Toa Payoh and they will fine tune it when there are chances.

th1988 SG

In fact, they claimed that there are more undercharging than overcharging.

Not true, look at 151.

SBS9818A SG

SBST most likely would not have done a thing provided it was not publicised.

spyder SG

Rolling Eyes its a very very queer senario... how come they can always take note of losses they made, but they never know they are over charging people... or do they actually know but keep mum about it??? Evil or Very Mad so overcharging just say sorry can liao? good business to do leh...

SBS9818A SG

SBST is infamous for such things. They overcharge and keep quiet until someone finds out and makes a scene out of this. Had the whistle-blower not mentioned such things we'd never know too.

th1988 SG

You mean you will never know?

Look at 151, the end FS to KVN is 31 while at Kent Ridge is 32. It is obvious for some services.

SBS9818A SG

It's not like I care. I'll be on concession until at least Mar 2005.

th1988 SG

For us, yes it is OK

But SBS is making pax made in everyway IMO

service_238 SG

Wow... Seems like the public is also complaining.. not only us. Mr. Green

service_238 SG

Service 26 and 31 problem did not arise until 26 amended its route in that area. I have noticed this problem but it kinda slipped out of my mind.

th1988 SG

Actually, 26 is undercharging.

If you take 8, 31, 90, 142 to TPY from SGN Road, it is $0.68-$0.83. While 26 is $0.63 What the?

tranquilice SG

Is it? Do you mean the stop opposite the fire station?

tranquilice SG

It's due to the route along Whampoa North.

SBS9818A SG

I think the discrepancy is due to the extended route at Upp S'goon Rd towards Kent Ridge.

tranquilice SG

Don't they mean the same? Confused (I think you mean Serangoon Rd)

SBS9818A SG

Ok, let's just say the junction of Jln Kolam Ayer, Upp Serangoon Rd, Macpherson Rd and Serangoon Rd.

tranquilice SG

Junction at Woodsville flyover. Razz

th1988 SG

Did a "spot check" as someone said that 151 had +1 FS. It should be minus 1 as it overcharged at Jalan Toa Payoh.

At Opp POSBank, the FS is now 11 instead of 12.

So now end FS at NUS is 33 and end FS at KVN is 31. Strange?
